Expressive Arts Cluster for Leaders
How Leaders can benefit from Expressive Arts?
When you are a leader in any field you encounter complex problems or
unexpected ones and have to make quick decisions. Expressive arts can help
develop a wide range of leadership skills such as organizing, public speaking,
tapping one’s intuition, courage, and articulation, taking ownership of your own
actions and bringing your authenticity to the table.
Through expression and creative play individuals will delve into their deeper
self and will discover dormant strengths and skills within them. The
unpredictability and creative problem solving will help conscious leaders
understand themselves better and foster creativity so they can find multiple
creative solutions to any arising problems. Through expressive arts they will be
pushing new innovative ideas, practicing their courage muscle to show up and
perform and learn to take ownership of their actions.
Expressive arts also involve risk taking. Leaders can strengthen this skill
to think against the mainstream using innovative and creative problem solving,
through active participation and collaboration with their peers they can develop
social skills. Participants will also learn how to take ownership of one’s
ideas, lead with confidence and stand true in their authenticity.
Finally, you will develop compassion, empathy, and how to listen and work
with others. These skills and qualities will further give you the confidence to
become better leaders, role models and visionaries.
