Here are 10 powerful insights from this financial
literacy guru. |
-
You make money during the day, and create wealth
while you sleep, by taking advantage of compound interest, which is money that
grows over time.
-
Home ownership is the foundation of wealth. When
people tell you it is better to rent – don’t listen to them! Most who say that
stupid thing own the homes they live in.
-
The only freedom you have total control over is
your credit score. Just pay your bills on time, and you will improve your credit
score.
-
Your credit score can not only help you
financially, but statistics show that people with higher credit scores tend to
live longer, for you have a different lifestyle.
-
People who live in “sub 600” credit score areas
tend to live into their 60’s. People with a credit score above 700 tend to live
into their 80’s.
-
For every 50 points of your credit score above 500,
you live 10 more years.
-
People fail for 3 reasons: ignorance, pride and
greed.
-
Financial literacy is available for everyone. The
key is your willingness to take the time to get rid of ignorance, by learning
how money works.
-
With wealth it really does not matter how much
money you make; it matters how you handle your money.
-
You must live below your means, save money, and
invest money so that it can grow.
John Hope Bryant’s mother worked a job
for 32 years, making $15-$18 per hour. She saved and invested. She bought 7
homes in her lifetime...and had a million-dollar net worth when she
died. | | |
