He began his speaking and consulting business at age 28, and now, at 94 years young, he works with the same passion.

1. Work Hard! It creates character and dignity and is good for your longevity!
   
   
2. To learn is a gift, so make the most of it. Be a lifelong learner.
   
   
3. To earn money, you must give value. Once you earn the money, then you must make the money create greater value by investing it.
   
   
4. Learn about investing and do not invest in things you do not understand or just because someone gave you a “hot” tip. Take time to learn.
   
   
5. Get educated about investing and taxes. Part of wealth-building is not just making money, but keeping more of your money with proper tax planning.
   
   
6. Set up and fund your Individual Retirement Account (IRA) and a Simplified Employee Pension (SEP) to legally minimize your retirement tax bite.
   
   
7. Never pay interest! And ALWAYS ask for a discount!
   
   
8. Always save a portion of what you make. Never spend it all.
   
   
9. Build a business that will impact future generations.
   
   
10. If you’re going to be poor at any time in your life, it’s better to be poor when you are young! You have time to recover!
