Greetings Fiery Friends...

Earlier today I felt inspired to share a shorter version of this via Social Media, but because I know many of you are (understandably) no longer on Facebook or Instagram, I wanted to be sure to extend some food for thought your way as well...

May this inspire some helpful thoughts, hope, and new ideas to consider as we navigate this wild ride together.

As long as time has existed - whether you want to see changes in your world or THE world - sustained anger and hate only feed the darkness and further obscure the path to TRUE freedom.

• Where there is LIGHT, there is clarity.

• Where there is LIGHT, solutions CAN be found.

• Where there is LIGHT, there is peace; AND productive, fruitful action that truly DOES make a difference.

• Where there is LIGHT, there is guidance and direction.

• Where there is LIGHT, there is always a way FORWARD.

But LIGHT is a choice that can not be pushed or forced on any other being: 

We can intend, pray, and love with all of our beings, but we can not force any other to choose LIGHT if they are not willing or able to reach for it.

We CAN, however, individually, choose LIGHT, ask for LIGHT, lean into LIGHT, demonstrate LIGHT, create LIGHT, and be LIGHT.

...And by so doing, lead, teach, and be a catalyst for change by our authentic EXAMPLE.

I believe that the greater the degree of external volatility, the stronger the invitation is to seek INTERNAL steadiness and stop looking to something outside of yourself to give you what it never could.

Though I will always hold to the vision of a world where all are safe, all have enough, and all have access to any and all opportunities they would seek, I also know it is not the world's job to make us feel safe and whole, friends, it is our OWN.

Instead of "waiting on the world to change", what if now is the time to actually, literally, FINALLY "Be the change you wish to see" for the benefit of your precious life, the ones you love, the communities you value, and for the generations to come?

I can only speak from personal experience, friends, but EVERY time I turn to the LIGHT - whether simply following the call of what feels natural, light, and fun in the moment, or reaching for the tiniest sliver I can find in times of extremes, I have always been guided to safety, solutions, help, support, and resources.

As always, friends, only take from this which speaks to you, but know that you ARE loved, you ARE supported, and that you CAN and will thrive (and help others in the process) - even in the midst of darkness or uncertainty...

...Every time you exercise the courage to reach for, look to, listen to, and let yourself be...

LIGHT.
