A Possible Way Forward - Even After THIS...

Greetings Fiery Friends...

I'll be brief and direct...

In an effort to find a way forward after the shocking turn of recent events, here is a tool I'd like to offer freely from one of my courses that has helped (and is currently helping) me move from anger & sadness to focusing forward and taking productive action.

It is my intention that this helps you or someone you love, even in some small way, keep hope and possibility alive for the benefit of ALL.

Whether you or I would ever make that choice for ourselves, to take the freedom of choice away from a woman or young girl who was violently raped, who's pregnancy could result in her or her child's death, who would give birth to a child with severe birth defects with no quality of life; or to bring a child into a toxic environment devoid of resources that could support that child's basic health and wellness needs, is - for me - simply unthinkable.

Let's do all we can to move forward, use our voices, and find ways over, under, around or through to solidify our right to life & liberty, privacy, and choice for all women, and ensure all children are born into an environment with all the resources THEY need to be well and thrive.

ARTISTS & PROJECTS THAT INSPIRE ME:

This week, I'd like to draw upon the work of the amazing India Arie - an artist who's work has long been a powerful inspiration to me. Her silky and soulful voice, vibe, and message resonated with me from the first time I heard, "Strength, Courage and Wisdom," and so much of her music is a part of the soundtrack of MY life.

Here is a song that I feel is especially fitting which always manages to soothe my soul and re-affirm what I feel to be "truth":
