Our minds are often focused on who won, whether it’s an argument, a contest, a competition, or some form of control.
How can we navigate well in a world
that thrives on the polarity of winners and losers? This podcast sets
aside for a few moments our collectivized mindset and the acquired need
to self-protect against the many “others” out there that we perceive.
In considering this topic, I’m borrowing here an apt quote from Neville Chamberlain, former Prime Minister of England.
“In war, whichever side may call itself the victor, there are no winners, but all are losers.”
There is another way to view the
seminal question: Who won? We’ll take a look at different viewpoints,
stories and paradigms in search of something bigger, higher and better
for all of humanity. If you need
an uplifting new perspective, expect to emerge with a brighter and more
empowered outlook. It may require a bit of faith and vision, but you can
anchor some of it to live happier, from the inside out.
Then, listen in as we hear from Trey Downes from Baltimore, Maryland who shares what makes him happy from the inside out, too.
