This session's
book is No Bad Parts: Healing Trauma and Restoring Wholeness with the Internal Family
Systems Model by Richard Schwartz Ph.D.
We invite you to participate in
SCN's Leadership Book Club Cluster hosted by Nebula Change Agent, Janet
Tamassia, Founder of The Sage Sisters.
We each bring our own strengths,
skills, life experiences, beliefs, fears/insecurities, motivators, and ambitions
to our work. The more we learn about what we bring, and how and why people are
different from us, the better we can lead diverse teams to work together
cohesively, compassionately, and collaboratively.
The Leadership Book Club Cluster
discusses a personal development book, with a focus on how it informs and
empowers us as leaders, and how we can and will use the information to further
develop our own leadership skills.
We come together to:
-
Discover new ideas and
perspectives and have “aha!” moments
-
Grow and contribute to the growth
of others
-
Share our personal experiences,
insights, and wisdom
-
Share other resources for further
learning
-
Inspire and uplift, and walk away
feeling inspired and uplifted
We have an open, free-flowing
discussion aided by discussion questions. Whether you’ve read (or listened to)
the book or not, you are welcome to attend and participate. With that said, it
naturally deepens the conversation when you are aware of the author’s work
and/or the concepts presented within the book.
