about the Pros & Cons of Facebook Facial Recognition -

There
are a number of reasons why you might want to keep the Facial
Recognition feature enabled. Facebook will notify you when a post by
someone else includes a picture of you but they neglected to tag you.
You are then able to either tag yourself on the picture or notify
Facebook that it's inappropriate.
Facebook
will also notify you if someone else is using your photo for their
own profile and impersonating you. Another benefit is to assist the
visually impaired with the text description on the photo.
Facebook
is attempting to provide more control over your own photos. However,
many people are concerned about the privacy and the security of their
photos with Facebook collecting biometric data without permission
with the Facial Recognition feature. You have to go into settings to
disable the Face Recognition feature.
To Success!
