Facebook is making it easier to Host Video Chats by adding Messenger Rooms in Groups and Online Events.
Listen in to Kathy's interview on the Jim Blasingame Small Business Advocate Radio show as she discusses Facebook's latest changes to Groups and Events.
Because of the social distancing and working from home, ZOOM has taken the lead in online video hosting and Facebook is taking notice. Facebook is now going to allow Group Admins and Members in a Group to create dedicated Rooms to host video chats of up to 50 people.
Group Admins are able to make their group Rooms "admin only" and not let members of the group create their own Rooms for video chats.
Another big plus is that Group members will be able to add link sharing in order to invite people to the room, even if they aren't your friends or a member of the group, which is a big change for Facebook.
Just a reminder that Kathy is on the Small Business Advocate Radio each month, sharing all the latest Social Media updates and tips. Kathy has been a BrainTrust Member on the Small Business Advocate Radio show for 9+ years and all her shows are located at:
