Do you want to do something that has never been done before? Many would answer, “Yes! I want to do something that has never been done before.” However, most people would never work over 40 hours per week, even if they were to get paid overtime pay for it.
Yet, to do something never done before, requires a lot of your time, and rarely will you be initially compensated for it. Meaning, if you do something that has never been done before, you must spend a lot of time, energy, and money without any guarantee you will get paid.
This is the reason many people continue doing what they have always done - because they know what to expect - they work 40 hours, and they get paid for working 40 hours.
