In this day and age, it is easy to get caught up
in the rush-rush-rush of faster and faster. How do we reach the next goal most
quickly?
When cooking a big fish, it may take more
time to marinate or on the grill.
This is the same as when you are nurturing a new
business or project or customer. Sometimes, there are extra steps to be fully
prepared. What are those steps?
The Quakers often talk about "seasoning"
in the sense of letting a discussion take time to collect different
perspectives or allow time for unseen influences to take shape.
What is your current goal or project? How big is
it?
Would it help to spend more time in design and
development so that the details fit? Does it make sense to wait* while allowing
your "big fish" to consider the offer?
*Do NOT confuse waiting with procrastination.
Successful entrepreneurs can find the balance in this duality. The stillness of
intention combined with the energy of action is where the magic happens!
