Many of the people we admire are not who we think they are.
Recently, I received an email plugging a “wealth building”
program that included an interview with a well-known “inspirational” speaker
and NY Times best-selling author. Millions
look up to him and take for gospel the words he speaks and writes. Also on the
video was the Dalai Lama, which creates a perception that all involved share
his values.
My experience with this person is that he is not aligned
with the message he preaches.
When you discover that a person you admire is nothing like
the one you’ve conjured in your mind, the reality can feel disappointing.
So, what is real? And is the message still valuable
