Wheels of
Success Reaches 1000th Car Milestone
TAMPA,
FL -- FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE -- Wheels of Success, Inc., is pleased to present
its 1000th car to a deserving veteran eligible through our Vehicles
for Veterans program, established in 2009 by State Farm.
The
presentation will take place at GTE Financial Headquarters, 711 E. Henderson Avenue
in Ybor City on Monday April 15, 2019 at 10:30 AM. The public is welcome to
help celebrate this milestone with Wheels of Success, and more importantly, with
Kenneth W., a U.S. Army Veteran and single grandfather who is raising his four
grandchildren. Employed at James A. Haley Veteran Hospital in Tampa, he needs a
larger car for his own family “troops”. The new-to-him-vehicle was generously
donated by repeat car donor John Kelly. The car repairs were funded by GTE
Financial. The car donor, John Kelly, also contributed to the repairs of the
2008 Chrysler Town & Country, further ensuring a reliable and functional
way for Kenneth W. to care for his family and get to work.
What
better day to celebrate our 1,000th car and our car donors than on Tax
Day – if you had donated your vehicle to us last year you could be deducting
the fair market value, not auction price!
Said
Susan Jacobs, Founder and CEO, “When I
had this vision 15 years ago to help working families continue working through
ownership of a reliable vehicle, I hoped we could affect many lives in many
ways, and here we are at our 1000th car helping to keep so many
families working and maintaining their family’s self-sufficiency. We look
forward to the next 1000 happening even faster!”

About Wheels of
Success
Celebrating its 15th year, Wheels of
Success continues to present repaired cars to working families.
Wheels of
Success presents agency and employer-referred working families with a reliable
and repaired car, which enables them to have consistent transportation to work,
keep their jobs and advance in their careers, buy enough groceries at one time
to feed their families instead of buying only what can be carried by hand,
participate in their children’s activities, and get to and from medical
appointments. Wheels of Success provides a way for working families to remain independent
and self-sufficient.
