Hi,
In
a recent meeting with my team, we got into a great conversation on why women are
burned out, fatigued, frustrated, over-worked, feeling burdened with all they’re
expected to do, etc.
I
began thinking about the Virginia Slims commercials in the late 60’s — “You’ve
come a long way, baby” — and the perfume commercials in 1980 which you can see
here: “I bring home the bacon…” (Here’s the original song “I’m a Woman” song by
Peggy Lee - enjoy!).
Yes,
we’ve come a long way, and no wonder we’re exhausted and sometimes feeling like
we are running in a hamster wheel, not moving forward!
If
this feels true, you will want to read my latest article: Comfluence™ For Your Everyday Life. You’ll get a
clearer understanding of what’s at play here, and important steps to take to
make some positive changes.
I
would love to hear your own stories about the problems you’re facing right now
in leading your business and home lives — and successes you’re having in taking
the lead from a Comfluential place. Reply here or schedule a chat — my
scheduling link is in the article.
And,
as always, be courageous - Dare to
Lead!
We
promised you the Peggy Lee song, "I'm a Woman" without a proper link - here it
is: | |
I
hope you enjoy the article as well as the song.
Have
a great weekend, and dare to lead!
Linda
