Listen in to my segment on the Jim Blasingame Small Business Advocate Radio show as I share Google Local Search Tips:
Local search marketing allows you to tap into the local market and having geographic information in your web content or blog, provides an opportunity to get found in search results.
You can add geo-targeted content on various website pages, including customer case studies and customer highlights.
If there are other local services that might be complementary to yours, you can write about those services in your geographic area, where it's relevant information and not just about stuffing keywords onto a page.
Definitely optimize your on-page SEO - page title, URLs, headers, internal links and page content with keywords, including location and contact pages.
Your blog can cover local and industry news that is timely and includes location information.
Make sure your website is mobile ready since a majority of searches are on a mobile device.
You can optimize your off-page SEO for local search as well.
Let me know if I can be of service to you in your digital marketing!
To Success!
