I am so excited to share this with you! My friend and colleague, Vicky Westra, one of the people I have admired for decades, has just broadened her reach and transitioned her brand to Neuroshifts. Vicky and her team have made an incredible positive impact on so many young adults on the Autism spectrum and their families, as well as their new employees. Now, they are expanding their support to people with all types of Neuroshifts. Neurodiversity is a growing movement and encompasses; Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, and all those with neurological differences.
Vicky, the founder of Autism Shifts (now Neuroshifts), reflected on the organization’s journey, having served hundreds of families in the Tampa Bay area: "Our daughter Gabbi is on the spectrum and was our initial inspiration for establishing Autism Shifts. We are now ready for the next step of our evolution to ensure we can help and support more families whose members are Neurologically divergent. We want to support neurodiverse individuals and families at home and in employment settings in the Tampa Bay area and beyond. We’ve built some great corporate relationships during our Autism Shifts journey and want to expand upon those efforts”.
Let’s celebrate! Are you ready to get your Glow on with us on April 23rd?
Autism Shifts (501c3) is evolving. The non-profit is re-branding as NEUROSHIFTS to reflect the organization’s expansion to serve more families with neurodivergent young adults and work within corporate settings to help support Neurodiversity.
NEUROSHIFTS is launching its new brand with a "Get Your Glow On” event, on Saturday, April 23, from 6 pm to 9 pm at the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) located at 4801 E. Fowler Ave. in Tampa.
The organization is extending an open invitation to the community to join them in this family-friendly celebration and to learn more about NEUROSHIFTS’ new programs and services, including their new Green Zone Life program, offering courses, workshops, social and meet-up groups, personal and group coaching and a membership program. Designed to best help those they serve, Green Zone Life will help participants achieve greater emotional/mental well-being and self-confidence and develop a positive, joyful outlook for the future to live the life they desire.
The ticket price for the event includes demonstrations of different well-being modalities by leading experts in the Tampa Bay community and access to MOSI's interactive, hands-on exhibits. Guests will also enjoy tasty treats served by Bay Area Food Trucks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, a goodie bag with glow items to wear during the event, and more!
