Tampa
Bay’s Wheels of Success, will be presenting two deserving veterans with
new-to-them trucks in honor of Veteran’s Day through their Vehicles for
Veterans Program. The presentations will take place at the new Wheels
of Success location at 13116 N. Florida Avenue in Tampa at
10:00 AM on November 10, 2021. The public is invited to attend.
“We
saved this 2006 Ford F150 Extended Cab for a veteran who was working
but also trying to start or continue their own businessl. A.D. fits this
perfectly as he is currently working at the Pinellas Corrections Dept.
while running his own catering business. The truck was donated by
Sahlman’s Seafood and we felt A.D. was the perfect candidate as he now
will have a better way to deliver the food for his events,” said Susan
Jacobs, Founder & CEO of Wheels of Success. The second truck was
donated by a Veteran and going to D.H. who is also a veteran – a great
way to honor Veteran’s Day.”
Wheels just recently relocated their
headquarters to their location on North Florida Avenue – and while the
transition has been busy, it has not stopped the organization from
presenting vehicles to candidates that qualify through their various
programs offered.
