Prove Oneself Vs. Quitting
Time and again, I was encouraged to quit my endeavors, no matter my ambition. My solution was to move away from the harassment and prejudice against women to adhere to my desires. Yes, it’s lonely working alone, but it’s far better than not attempting our heart’s desire. Giving up is the last thing I will ever do while alive.
Although one may feel singled out, it’s critical to realize many people fall into a similar category, especially those (not political, but factual) who are not Caucasian males. It’s best to remember that we each have one life to live, and our duty is to live it our way for a fulfilling life ahead.
You may think momentarily that my advice is impractical; while that may be true, it works exceptionally well when we adhere to it. It was an honor to be featured in the CIO Visionaries Magazine and to have my story shared, which was meant to motivate and inspire my audience.
How to Convey ‘No’
When management or counterparts want you to perform unacceptably, the best answer is first to inquire, ‘Why?’ Next, request all details. As the answer is completed, use the standout vocabulary of the other person to convey potential contradictions, and ask how they can resolve the conflict. At this point, typically, stammering occurs without a solid response; it’s best to walk away.
However, if the other person is mean, disregards questions, and still attempts to downgrade you and your efforts, it’s best to walk away and tell oneself, ‘I did myself a favor, and now I have free time to accomplish my desires.’
Commit to Learning
Mentally take note of all the things people tell you you are doing incorrectly. The topics with which you believe may need research, commit to figuring out the best way for you to embrace them for further progress.
Collaborate
Realizing others have similar interests and values, reach out to share one another's work and collaborate on new ideas for attracting a larger audience. As you connect with people over time, the collaborative effort becomes exponential. Looking back, it’s easy to realize how the effort furthers one’s desires and achievements beyond what was initially believed to be possible.
Unique Goals
We are each unique beings with something to bring to the table, but we must deliberately weed out unacceptable guests, primarily focusing on values and priorities. Integrity is everything, so the many partners must share similar ideals.
‘Trust is the soul of sales and everything else we do.’
Be Accountable and Monitor Work
Not everything works out as we ‘hope’ and it is in our best interest to attend to the details to determine whether it’s best to revise the plan or replace it with another. Likewise, ensure that they do similarly as you begin working with others. In particular, errors will occur for large projects involving many individuals. Diplomacy is critical, and an offer to help adjust the approach will encourage others to work similarly ~ the title is ‘Leadership.’
Conclusion: Inspire Your Audience to New Heights and Business Growth
As others observe us working for the greater good, admiration becomes part of the equation for growing attention in many realms. This may include audience growth, sharing of your work, introductions, and potentially attracting publicity.
