How To Exponentially Grow Your Organization with Grace
Hi,
My
Sirius XM Wealthy Ways Show guest this weekend is Pastor John K. Jenkins Sr. He
became a licensed minister at the age of fifteen. In October of 1988, Pastor
Jenkins became the pastor of the First Baptist Church of Glenarden in Glenarden,
MD with a membership of less than 500 people.
Today
there are over 11,000 members who attend weekly, with thousands more attending
virtually from around the world.
As
a business leader, Pastor Jenkins serves on many boards including banking,
health care, and social enrichment. He's the Chairman of The National
Association of Evangelicals and President of the National Ministries for
Converge, which is a denomination of over 1,600 churches around the world. He is
the first African American to lead this 170-year-old organization.
In
2023, Pastor Jenkins received his Masters of Arts in Ministry Leadership from
Wheaton College. He also received an honorary Doctor of Divinity from Denver
Seminary in Littleton, CO; and from the Southern California School of Ministry
in Inglewood, CA.
In
