Meaningful Employment is one of our goals for achieving a Green Zone Life! Russell, a former student and barista at our Artistas Cafe explains it best. Autism should not be viewed as something that causes limitations or inability to perform job duties. Russell started at the Cafe as a barista and eventually became the Cafe Manager. Russell’s own words is “I’ve got what it takes!” Today, Russell is completing his degree in Business Marketing and is a talented artist and cartoonist. He wants to combine his passions to work in a creative marketing role. We have the confidence in Russell’s capabilities and know he will achieve everything he sets his mind too!

| A supportive family and community helped Alejandro through his journey in living a Green Zone Life. Today, Alejandro is a full-time graphic designer at Sol Davis Press. He never allowed what others considered to be his “limitations” to get in the way of his success. Alejandro has been a wonderful addition to our Neuroshifts family, and we are beyond proud of his accomplishments. Through our program, he learned that everything we desire in life is possible if we truly believe it to be and take the steps necessary to achieve it. He has applied this philosophy to his life and is creating so many great outcomes for himself. Read Alejandro's full story here |

Creating Lasting Friendships are one of the key components of a Green Zone Life A big part of our mission at Neuroshifts is to give opportunities to those who may have a hard time making friends to have meaningful friendships and relationships. For the Neurodiverse community, friendships can sometimes be challenging to attain creating both isolation and loneliness to the lives of many. Our Foundations for Friendships group focuses on the need and importance of having true friendships and people you can connect with. Your investment in our program can help these young individuals participate in our monthly events and help them gain the friendships that they so desire. |
