Happy Memorial Day!

And today in the U.S. we take the time to pause and reflect on what many have chosen to live and die for. However, I've been thinking a lot about my life lately. Why? I will be blowing out candles and making a wish soon. What will I wish for? I wish for more work, life, balance, and above all more love and support. Isn't that what we all want?

Mental Health Awareness Month

May is Mental Health Awareness Month! And I've been working on being more authentic and sharing my story and life lessons a more, even if it's just six words at a time on Instagram. Well, after I wrote the proposal an won the grant to create the lowest budgeted award winning animation film of all time (yes I checked) I had what I thought was "imposter syndrome." If I was so great. How come I was just given the funds and no one cared to check on me. Was it just a Black Lives Matter gesture? Am I just lucky? My entire life is full of questions that have also lead to a resting confused face or a medically diagnosed anxiety disorder.

However, it's better than being diagnosed with "bicycle face." Amen." because we've come a long way but there's more work to do. I got new tees for all you who to see more gender equity, as well. But that's not all....before the end of June, I'll be singing a new book tune.
