TAMPA, FL (April 21, 2015) -
Twelve working Bay
area families will receive cars at Wheels of Success' annual
R.A.C.E. fundraising event beginning at 6:00 p.m. on April 24, 2014 at the
A La Carte Event Pavilion.
The event will
celebrate the organizations' 12 years of serving low to moderate income
working families in the Tampa Bay area with personal transportation
solutions. Wheels of Success will recognize its top supporters and
community partners at an event sponsored by AAA Auto Group, and featuring
activities such as mini slot car races, a driving simulator, and a keynote
address by Elder Automotive Group CEO, Rob Elder. Honorary Chairs for
the event are longtime supporters, Steve and Julie Weintraub. The
event will be emceed by Fox 13 News Anchor Jennifer Epstein.
In addition to
celebration and vehicle presentations, a regular feature of the event is
the presentation of
the annual Hub Cap Awards. The 9th annual Hub Cap
Award presentation will pay tribute to outstanding leaders and
organizations in the community who have demonstrated above and beyond
support for the organization's mission. 2015 Honorees will
include:
