I have people ask me from time to time "what should my videos be about?"
Well first there's the obvious, make videos about your business and educating people about what you do and how you do it.
Here are a few additional ideas and suggestions that you may not have thought about.
1. Interview people.
Nobody likes a know it all.
Yes, you are the expert but there are other experts in your field too.
Make a video every so often interviewing others and get their perspective on a relevant subject within your industry.
2. If you are getting asked similar questions about something in your industry from several different people then make a video answering that question. Chances are many people are asking and looking for an answer, so give it to them.
3. Make sure that you are being genuine and speak from your heart.
What excites you?
What are you passionate about?
What do you love to do?
If you are passionate about gardening, make a video about it.
If you love crocheting little hats for newborn babies and donating them to the hospitals, make a video about it.
Making videos about these things will help viewers connect with you on a personal level. 10-20% of your videos that you make should be on a personal level.
