We felt it extremely important to share how we are addressing the evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and are taking steps to ensure the wellbeing of everyone involved with our events and in our community around the region. We want to update you on some of the planning and responses we are taking here at the SOAR Community Network. 

For the months to come, there will be a shift in how we interact, communicate and work. Together, we can create an opportunity for growth and expansion rather than fear and isolation. This is the time to elevate our work and missions. The way in which we deliver the work and accomplish these missions will need to be adjusted of course, but we plan to encourage the increase in support of each other's businesses, nonprofits and independent practices - to ensure that we take a proactive and positive approach to working and living differently - under these new circumstances.

If you and your leadership team need additional support on how to better utilize technology to create stronger remote working opportunities, please sign up for our next Tech Cluster, on April 14th and we will share how we are using Zoom to host "events" online. We have decided to cancel our Mix & Mingle gathering on Friday, March 27, 2020 to contribute to "flattening the curve" and do our part to reduce the coronavirus spread. For the time being, all of our upcoming in-person gatherings will become remote via Zoom video conference. Our next SCN Ideation in-person gathering on April 8th is now a remote experience. For those who have registered, we will email you the Zoom link prior to the session. April 9th's remote gathering will remain on the calendar for the time being but will likely be combined with the ideation experience on the 8th.

We encourage everyone to take mindful pauses, respond thoughtfully, take precautions to keep yourself, loved ones and community members healthy while remembering we're all in this together. We've gone through trying times before as a human race, we will get through these uncertain times together. We are here and will continue to advance our mission by supporting, encouraging and advancing your missions.
